Quality Assurance
Data Validation
Your first layer of assurance

The old saying of "garbage in - garbage out" applies today just like if did back when punch cards programmed the monster IBM main frame computers. Your output was only as good as your input and it is no different today. So, we built two different types of checks into our assessment software. First, we perform a data validation check to ensure that your data passes the "common sense" test. For example, if your multiple choice test has five different possible answers (A-E) our system will indicate an error if it spots any letter F-Z or any number or any two letters in a cell that is supposed to contain a A-E answer. In the case of partial credit answers we check to be sure the earned points is equal to or less than the possible points. In addition to the data validation our Level 5 Assessor™ has internal system checks.
Internal system tests and checks
Your second layer of assurance
In addition to our data validation checks, we built over thirty internal tests and system checks into our Level 5 Assessor™ assessment system to spot any conceivable abnormality. Our Quality Assurance Checker™ performs these systems checks at each of the five levels of assessment. If the Quality Assurance Checker™ detects anything abnormal it indicates a system failure in red at the level where the abnormality was detected as well as on the Quality Assurance Checker™ located on the Level 1/4 Assessment Report. Thus, the Level 1-5 System Checks on the Level 1/IV report sheet serve as a master control panel to alert us if there are any abnormalities anywhere in your data or the assessment system.
